I love my friends, but I’m so glad to be leaving.
There are so many things I wish I had the balls to say to then about things they’re doing with their baby. But the mom just finished her nursing degree so acts like I couldn’t possibly know anything.
They keep him angled so far foreward in his car seat that his head slumps forward into his chest & you can hear that it makes his breathing more labored. They also keep the house SO hot. I saw on his baby monitor it’s 80* in his room. It’s 74 in ours, and even that’s a bit too warn for cloe. AND they have him in a fleece sleeper and hat.Don’t they know sids is higher in boys? Or that links have been made showing that sids is more likely to occur when it’s too hot than too cool? Sigh. I mean, don’t get me wrong… For the most part they seem to be awesome, loving parents (albeit a bit over protective). He has anything he could need or want ever then some. But just…yeah.
I’ll be glad when we get home into our own messy, comfortable space.
